Skrill charges a small fee on some transaction types, and how much you can send depends on your verification tier — a fully verified account has meaningfully higher limits than a basic one. Check your current tier before a larger purchase so the payment does not get held pending additional verification.

Keeping a Skrill payment secure

Fund your wallet only through Skrill's own site or app, never respond to messages asking you to "confirm" a payment outside the platform, and double check the recipient details match the SMTP provider's checkout exactly — e-wallet transfers, once confirmed, are not reversible.

If Skrill is not available in your region

Most providers accepting Skrill also accept other e-wallets or cryptocurrency, so check the full list of payment options at checkout rather than assuming Skrill is the only alternative to a card.

Save your Skrill transaction ID and confirmation email — useful for your own records and the fastest way to resolve any billing question with the SMTP provider without needing to dig through wallet history later.

If you send SMTP payments internationally, note that currency conversion happens at the moment of transfer — checking the rate beforehand avoids any surprise in the final amount.
